We have over 600+ adoptable dogs at any time!

Adoption fees vary - We don't have a set adoption fee, in fact, nothing comes back to the rescue - we instead ask the adopters to cover the transport cost.

This means that we don’t have a set cost, as we want to keep it as low as possible with adopters only paying the exact transport amount. We know it’s a large expense, but we hope you agree it is completely worth it for a healthy, happy, vaccinated, neutered new family member.

The transport cost covers:

  • The airline fee

  • The transport from the Safehouse in Harbin to either Beijing or Shanghai

  • The exit paperwork

  • Any import paperwork

  • Any domestic transport to the adoptive home

  • Crate

For the UK it's currently £1,000 - £1,600 on average

For the US it's currently $850 to $2,200 on average

For Europe it’s currently €1,200 - €1,500 on average

Please note the adoptive location, and the size and weight of the animal can affect these costs!

Please also note that our partner rescues have their own way of covering transport fees so adoption fees may vary with them.

All successful applications will be thoroughly home-checked either by a member of our team or our partner rescues. This allows us to ensure they have the safety and security for an eternal happy-ever-after, just like we promised them from the second they were rescued with us.

Please note for UK/European adoptions the minimum age puppies will leave our care is 10 months old, due to vaccinations, export/import protocols, and for their best interest. For USA adoptions the minimum age puppies will leave our care is 8 months, for the same reasons.

USA UPDATE: The CDC ban has been lifted for rescue pups to the USA! We are still limited by flight options (with China still being closed to people entering, we still cannot run our volunteer programme, meaning we are limited to people already within China accompanying them on their flight, or via manifest cargo).

CANADA UPDATE: Sadly as of the 28th September 2022, Canada is closing it’s borders to dogs from China (and many other countries) so until further notice we are not able to accept applications from Canada.
